Some relationships feel perfect when they begin. Everything seems to fall into place as if two people were meant to find each other. Conversations flow easily, laughter comes naturally, and being together feels effortless. In those moments, it’s easy to believe that the story will last forever.
That’s how it felt with us.
When we first met, everything seemed right. We understood each other in ways that were rare and comforting. The time we spent together felt meaningful, and every small moment became a memory worth holding onto. It felt like we had found something special.
For a while, it truly felt perfect.
We shared dreams, talked about the future, and built a connection that felt strong and genuine. Being with you made life feel lighter, and the idea of losing that happiness never crossed my mind.
But sometimes perfection only belongs to a moment, not a lifetime.
As time passed, things slowly began to change. The closeness we once shared started to fade in small ways. The conversations that once lasted for hours became shorter, and the connection that once felt so easy began to feel different.
It wasn’t because we didn’t care.
The feelings were still there, but something about the relationship had shifted. Maybe we were growing in different directions, or maybe life was simply leading us down separate paths. Whatever the reason, the love we shared could no longer stay the same.
That realization was painful.
It’s difficult to accept that something that once felt perfect might not last forever. You remember the happy moments and wonder why they couldn’t continue the way they once did.
But sometimes a relationship can be beautiful even if it doesn’t last forever.
The time we shared together was real. The laughter, the memories, and the emotions we experienced all mattered. Just because our story ended doesn’t mean it wasn’t meaningful.
We were perfect for a moment in time.
And sometimes that’s what love is—two people who find something special together, even if it’s only meant to be part of their journey and not the entire story.
We were perfect, just not forever. 💔
